Central College Nottingham

Central offers a comprehensive range of further and higher education courses and training opportunities for business and industry. Our excellent reputation for student support and achievement coupled with superb facilities and resources provides students with a first class learning environment.

We offer a range of full and part time study opportunities during the day, evening and weekends at all levels and in a diversity of subject areas. Relevant and practical programmes will enable you to progress into employment, onto Higher Education or develop your existing skills. These are held at our main centres and many of our adult and community courses are held at venues in the surrounding community.

Nottingham has a wide range of rented accommodation within private housing and student halls of residents.

Campuses :

• Beeston High Road

The centre houses the recently completed Salon Central, a commercial salon with 40 hairdressing stations & 32 beauty treatment beds and the College's new 1000m2 Construction Centre. It also provides courses in Business and IT, ESOL, Foundation for Apprenticeships and Work, Horizons (LLDD) and Science. The Centre is also the base for the College's large International provision

• Maid Marian Way

The Centre, in the heart of the City, provides courses in Access, Business & IT, Childcare, ESOL, Foundation for Apprenticeships and Work, Science, Health & Social Care, Photography and Travel and Tourism.

• Clifton

Situated on Farnborough Road, Clifton, the Centre houses courses in Art and Design, Sport and Public Services as well as some courses in Constructive and Automotive. It is also the base for the College's £2m football facility

• Highfields

Highfields is located on University Boulevard and houses our Engineering courses. Created in association with Toyota, the Centre has ten fully fitted workshops, a car showroom and a state of the art learning resource centre

• Ruddington

This centre is home to Emtec as well some of the industry's leading training providers. Training takes place in modern, purpose built facilities in Ruddington where automotive training in conjunction with motor manufacturers has been taking place for over 15 years.

• London Road

The Centre, just five minutes walk from Nottingham Train Station and Tram terminus, is the College's Automotive Centre which boasts three automotive workshops with a total of 32 ramps. It houses most of the Automotive courses and our new commercial garage, Auto Central which is now open!

• New Basford

The Centre, based on Duke Street, is the College's Engineering Centre specialising in Fabrication & Welding. With thirty bays it is one of the largest training facilities of its kind in the UK and provides training solutions for a variety of engineering companies

• Stapleford

The Centre houses our Horizons courses and provides specialist facilities for students with a range of physical and learning difficulties and disabilities.

• Wheeler Gate

This brand new facility, which opened in September 2014, offers hair and beauty courses from level 1 to level 3 in a modern industry-standard salon which is also open to the public.

• Trent Bridge Cricket Ground

This prestigious, world-class venue, Trent Bridge Cricket Ground, is home to our brand new Hospitality and Catering courses. Learn in a real environment at one of the most famous sporting venues in the country.
