About BIMM London

BIMM Group is a collection of six music colleges, with over 50 years’ combined experience in helping students launch successful and sustainable careers in the music industry.

Our colleges are situated in the cities where music matters most: London, Berlin, Dublin, Brighton, Bristol and Manchester.

We offer a wide range of Further Education and Higher Education music-centric courses, covering Degrees and Diplomas in specialisms such as Guitar, Bass, Drums, Vocals, Music Event Management, Music Journalism, Music Production, Live Sound, Music Business and Teacher Training.

At BIMM, we use our impressive network of contacts to connect our students directly to the music industry, giving them direct access to a range of collaborative experiences including Masterclasses with internationally renowned guest artists, end-of-term gigs, A&R panels, opportunities to feature on the BIMM Album, festival work experience, industry internships and work-based learning placements. Past collaborators have included BIMM patron Roger Daltrey CBE (The Who), Chuck D (Public Enemy), Graham Coxon (Blur), and many more.

Our tutors live and breathe music and have an impressive history working with many of the world's best-known artists. Our alumni include international success stories such as George Ezra and The Kooks, among many others.

All our colleges hold regular Open Days for prospective students to visit so they can experience for themselves what life at BIMM is really like.

The secret to success is no secret. If you want to make it in music, you’ve got to get connected. Connect with BIMM, and we’ll connect you to a life in music.

Campus

More than just the capital of the country, London is the capital of the music world. With facilities befitting of the city’s status, BIMM London is the ultimate place to prepare for the rigours of the music industry.

The college, which opened in Fulham in 2013 following a £3m investment, spans five storeys and 19,000ft2. It’s an incredible building and a stunning place to go to study each day – but just like the best artists in music, the college boasts style and substance in equal measure.

It features an incredible 25 teaching rooms, all kitted-out with equipment from the world’s leading musical instrument manufacturers. Guitars from Gibson, Fender and Ernie Ball, drums and keyboards by Yamaha, amps from Marshall, Hartke and Peavey, and mics from Shure and Sontronics.

There’s a Mac suite too, complete with industry software favourite Pro Tools, plus mixing rooms and post-production suites for students pursuing a more technical route into the music profession.

Whichever side of the studio you see your future on – whether you’re a performer or a producer – the college has everything you need to get your musical ambitions off the ground.

Connections are a major part of career success too, so alongside all the first-class facilities and industry equipment, it’s also good to know that Universal Publishing (the world’s leading music publisher and home to artists such as Adele and Coldplay) is right on our doorstep.
