Accommodation
In addition to paying the full cost of the program, students must manage their own living expenses. The cost of living and studying in Singapore is quite reasonable. The amount to be set aside will depend on the kind of accommodation a student chooses.
KHEA provides advice and assistance for international students searching for accommodation ranging from public housing to private apartments. As each individual’s requirements differs, KHEA suggested for students to arrange the rental of their accommodation after arriving in Singapore. A programme manager or buddy will be at hand to provide relevant advice on appropriate housing according to your budget and requirements.
Students who required accommodation can approach the Student Support Services staff at KHEA for assistance in locating a suitable place to stay in Singapore. A notice period of at least 3 weeks in advance is required for a KHEA's staff to recommend a professional service company to handle the students' accommodation in accordance with their budget and requirements. Depending on location and room type, rental rates range from SG$500 per month.
