Entry Requirements

Academic Requirements:

  • A Master’s degree (or international equivalent) plus an upper second-class honours degree (2:1) (or international equivalent) in pharmacy or a related scientific discipline
    OR

  • A first-class honours degree (or international equivalent) in pharmacy or a related scientific discipline

Note: Non-UK qualifications will be assessed against these standards.

Additional Notes:

  • Applicants must hold a degree from a recognised university.

  • Applications from all academic backgrounds are welcome, provided relevant qualifications are met.

  • Some programmes may require prior study in related fields.

  • Interviews may be conducted if further evaluation is needed.

  • Eligibility will only be confirmed after submission of a complete application.


English Language Requirements

  • IELTS (Academic): 6.5 overall, with no less than 6.0 in each component

  • TOEFL iBT: 90 overall

    • Minimum 19 in Writing and Listening

    • Minimum 20 in Reading

    • Minimum 22 in Speaking

  • PTE (Academic): 71 overall, with no less than 65 in each component

  • MUET: Band 4.5


Test result notes:

  • IELTS, TOEFL iBT, and PTE Academic results must be less than two years old

  • IELTS One Skill Retake is accepted

  • Online versions of IELTS, TOEFL iBT, and PTE are not accepted

  • MUET results are valid for five years from the release date
