The Bachelor of Science (Honours) Quantity Surveying program equips students with the expertise needed to manage costs, contracts, and economic aspects of construction projects. Quantity surveying is a multidisciplinary profession that requires technical, economic, legal, and management skills to ensure the effective planning, execution, and financial control of building developments. The program provides a comprehensive understanding of the Quantity Surveyor’s role throughout the entire construction lifecycle. The curriculum ensures that students develop analytical and problem-solving skills essential for cost-efficient and sustainable construction practices. In addition to academic study, students gain hands-on industry experience through A minimum of six months of practical training at a quantity surveying firm or a construction-related company, providing real-world exposure to industry operations

Entry Requirements
- STPM: 3 Passes (min. Grade C), including Mathematics; Credit in SPM/O-Level Mathematics & Bahasa Melayu/English.
- A-Level: 3 Passes (min. Grade D), including Mathematics/Applied Mathematics; Credit in SPM/O-Level Mathematics & Bahasa Melayu/English.
- UEC: Grade B in 5 subjects, including Mathematics & Bahasa Malaysia/English; Credit in SPM/O-Level Bahasa Melayu/English (if no Grade B in UEC).
- SAM: ATAR 70 & Grade B in 2 relevant subjects, including Mathematics; Credit in SPM/O-Level Mathematics & Bahasa Melayu/English.
- CPU: Min. 70% in 2 relevant subjects + 4 others (including Mathematics); Credit in SPM/O-Level Mathematics & Bahasa Melayu/English.
- IB Diploma: Min. CGPA 2.50 (Arts: 2 relevant subjects incl. Mathematics); Credit in SPM/O-Level Mathematics & Bahasa Melayu/English.
- Matriculation / Foundation (Other Institutions): Min. CGPA 2.50; Credit in SPM/O-Level Mathematics & Bahasa Melayu/English.
- Diploma (Level 4, MQF): Min. CGPA 2.67 (max. 30% credit transfer); Credit in SPM/O-Level Mathematics & Bahasa Melayu/English.
- Quantity Surveying Diploma (Not accredited by BQSM): Min. CGPA 2.67 (full programme required); Credit in SPM/O-Level Mathematics & Bahasa Melayu/English.
- Diploma (Related Fields: Engineering, Architecture, etc.): Min. CGPA 2.67 (full programme required); Credit in SPM/O-Level Mathematics & Bahasa Melayu/English.
- Other equivalent qualifications: Recognised by the Malaysian Government; Credit in SPM/O-Level Mathematics & Bahasa Melayu/English.
Note:
- International students with equivalent SPM/O-Level qualifications must have at least a pass in Mathematics or equivalent.
- Malaysian Applicants must also have a pass in SPM English/equivalent + credit in SPM Bahasa Melayu/O-Level OR Grade B in UEC Bahasa Malaysia.
English Language Requirement:
Malaysian Applicants (STPM / UEC / Non-English qualifications):
- Credit in SPM English / Grade C in O-Level English / Grade B in UEC English / MUET Band 3 / IELTS Band 5.0 / TOEFL 40(iBT) / 7.5 (Essentials) / PTE 47 / Cambridge English 154/100 (OET) / ELS CIEP Level 107.
- Not required for A-Level/SAM/CPU or fully English-conducted qualifications, but must have a pass in SPM English/equivalent.
- Applicants not meeting the above requirements: Required to take the English Enhancement Programme and pass English Levels 7 & 8.
International Applicants:
- Minimum IELTS Band 5.0 / MUET Band 3 / TOEFL 40(iBT) / 7.5 (Essentials) / PTE 47 / Cambridge English 154/100 (OET) / ELS CIEP Level 107 / equivalent.
- Not required for fully English-conducted qualifications or students from English-speaking countries, but must have a pass in SPM English/equivalent.
