The Bachelor of Science (Honours) Dietetics at UTAR is a comprehensive 4-year programme designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed for disease management, health promotion, and medical nutrition therapy.

Entry Requirements
1. STPM: A minimum GPA of 2.33 in any 2 of the following subjects:

2. A-Level: A minimum of Grade D in any 2 of the following subjects:

3. UEC: Grade B in 5 subjects including any 2 of the following subjects:

- Chemistry
- Physics/Mathematics
4. SAM: Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) 70 and Grade B in any 2 of the following subjects:

- Physics/Mathematics
5. CPU: An Average of 70% in 6 subjects including any 2 of the following subjects:

- Chemistry
- Physics/Mathematics
6. International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma: Diploma with a minimum of 28 points (excluding bonus points) and obtained a minimum of 4 points each in any 2 of the following subjects:
- Biology-HL
- Chemistry-HL
- Physics-HL/ Mathematics: Applications and Interpretation-HL/ Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches-HL
7. Foundation in Science, UTAR; Matriculation / Foundation from other Institutions of Higher Learning in the relevant field: A minimum GPA of 2.33 in any 2 of the following subjects:

- Chemistry
- Physics/Mathematics
8. Diploma (Level 4, MQF) in the relevant field:
- 1. Minimum CGPA of 2.75. If CGPA below 2.75, a minimum of 36 months(3 years) working experience in the related field is requied.
9. Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government

- Malaysian Applicants (STPM / UEC / qualifications not fully in English): Credit in SPM English / Grade C in O-Level English / Grade B in UEC English / MUET Band 3 / IELTS Band 5.5 / TOEFL 46 (iBT) / TOEFL 8 (Essentials) / PTE 51 / Cambridge English 160/200 (OET) / ELS CIEP Level 108.
