Diploma in Chemical Engineering Technology
About
In response to Industry 4.0 advancements—such as additive manufacturing, advanced materials, big data, and simulation—Malaysia's chemical industry demands a workforce equipped with future-ready skills. To meet this need, UniKL MICET launched a 2.5-year Diploma in Chemical Engineering Technology (DCET). The programme focuses on four key specialisations: Sustainable Process Engineering, Biotechnology & Bioengineering, Advanced Materials, and Environmental Engineering Technology & Sustainability. It integrates professional certifications (e.g., Smart 3D Modelling and Ergonomic Training) and offers up to 57 credit transfers, enabling seamless progression to a bachelor's degree. The curriculum supports national development and aligns with post-pandemic socioeconomic priorities in energy, technology, environment, and food security.
