Last year Taylor's University and University of the West of England (UWE) celebrated 10-years of working together. Over that time, thousands of students have studied at Taylor's and graduated with a degree from UWE, and hundreds of other Taylor's students have articulated over to the UK and completed their UWE degree in Bristol. In yet another step in the evolution of the relationship between Taylor's University and UWE, four British students have recently arrived on-campus in Kuala Lumpur. These UWE students will be spending a year studying at Taylor's University, earning credit towards their UWE degree back at home. Prof Perry Hobson, the PVC for Global Engagement, noted that "Less than 5% of UK students study abroad, so I am personally delighted to see three British students on-campus with us. It'll be great experience for them".He went on to add that "this is also clear reflection of how our standing in the world has changed since we became a university just a few years ago, as well as the flexibility and strength of the relationship we have with UWE". Three of the eleven schools within Taylor's University work closely with UWE – they include the Taylor's Business School, the School of Communication and the School of Information Technology – and the relationship allows for students to graduate with two separate degrees.
