at the recent Junior World Entrepreneurship Forum (JWEF).
A Foundation in Computing (FIC) student, Duncan Tsen Ken Sang, has recently won a second award for his mobile application, “FeedOn!” at the Junior World Entrepreneurship Forum (JWEF). A global initiative derived from the World Entrepreneurship Forum (WEF), this is a worldwide community of students and young entrepreneurs that aims to promote entrepreneurship globally. “It is thrilling to see tremendous support for Duncan’s work and that he’s receiving well-deserved recognition for his creativity,” said Professor Dr. Hiew Pang Leang, Dean of School of Computing & IT (SOCIT). Duncan went head to head with the Top 10 professionals and students within Malaysia, including his peer Ting Shi Jin, pursuing his degree in Software Engineering (Hons) at Taylor’s, for his application, “Traquer”. Each candidate was required to pitch their startup ideas, as well as present a case study according to the theme, Global Entrepreneurship provided by JWEF. From this win, Duncan will represent Malaysia to the WEF in Hangzhou, China in October 2015.
