Entry Requirements
Prerequisites:
- A pass in SPM/O-level or equivalent with 5 credits, including Mathematics, for students from Foundation programmes
- A pass in SPM/O-Level or equivalent with 3 credits including Mathematics for students from Pre-U (CPU, STPM, UEC, IB or equivalent from other institutions) and Diploma qualifications.
- A Pass in Mathematics at a higher level can be used to replace the prerequisite Credit in Mathematics in SPM/O-Level/or equivalent
Entry Pathway:
Any one of these:
- Taylor's Foundation in Natural and Built Environments (FNBE): Pass with min. CGPA 2.50 (not subject to AA)
- Taylor's Foundation in Design (FID): Pass with min. CGPA 2.50
- Other Taylor's Foundation: Other Taylor's Foundation in related field (Demonstrated numerical proficiency in Mathematics, Accounting, Principles of Economics or Statistics) with min. CGPA 2.50
- Taylor's Diploma: Pass with min. CGPA 2.67
- Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM): Min. CGPA 2.00 for 3 subjects
- Unified Examination Certificate (UEC): Pass with min. 5Bs including Mathematics or Advanced Mathematics or Advanced Mathematics 1 or Advanced Mathematics 2
- A Level: Min. DDD
- AUSMAT (SACEi): Min. ATAR 65
- Canadian Pre-University (CPU): Min. average of 65% in 6 subjects
- International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP): Min. 24 points and above based on 6 subjects
- MUFY: Overall 60%
- Foundation in related field from other institution recognised by Malaysian Government: Pass with CGPA 2.50 (demonstrated numerical proficiency in Mathematics, Accounting, Principles of Economics or Statistics)
- Diploma from other institution recognised by Malaysian Government: Pass with CGPA 2.67
- Other foundation, matriculation, high school certificates from other institution recognised by Malaysian Government
English Requirements:
- IELTS: Band 5.0
- TOEFL: 40 (Internet Based Test)
- MUET: Band 3
- UEC English: B6
- O-Level: Grade C
- Cambridge English/ELS: Also recognised; the minimum score varies by programme
- 1119 (GCE-O): Grade C
- Taylor's EET: Overall Score 5.0
- Taylor's IEN: Level 2 - Grade C
- Pre-University / Diploma: Completed Pre-U / Diploma that was conducted in English
