The Bachelor of Fashion Design Technology at Taylor’s University equips students with cutting-edge skills in fashion innovation and digital design. Students will explore the latest advancements in fashion technology, collaborate in Mayamode, Malaysia’s first co-working fashion studio, and engage in studio-based learning. Prerequisites:
- Pass SPM/O-level or equivalent with 5 credits with foundation qualification (Except for UEC).
- Pass SPM/O-level or equivalent with 3 credits for entry with Diploma qualification.
- Pass Visual Test: Pass Visual Test (Taylor'’s FID, DID and FNBE are exempted from the Entrance Test)

- Taylor’s Diploma in Interior Design (DID): Pass with min. CGPA 2.00
- Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM): CC
- Unified Examination Certificate (UEC): Pass with min. 5Bs
- A Level: Min. grades DD
- AUSMAT (SACEi): Min. ATAR 60
- Canadian Pre-University (CPU): Min. average of 55% in 6 subjects
- MUFY: Overall 50%
- IB: Min 24 points in 6 subjects
- Other Qualifications
- Foundation from institution recognised by Malaysian Government with min. CGPA 2.00
- Diploma from institution recognised by Malaysian Government with min. CGPA 2.00
- MoE Matriculation with min. CGPA 2.00
- A pass in DKM/DKLM/DVM in suitable fields with a min. CGPA of 2.50 subject to Senate approval (Note: The HEPs are to conduct screening and provide necessary guidance specific to the discipline of the programme);
- A pass in DKM / DLKM / DVM with a min. CGPA of 2.00 and at least have two (2) years working experience in a related discipline
- Any other qualification recognised by Malaysian govt.
- Application via APEL A is allowed
English Requirements:
- MUET/IELTS/TOEFL/UEC English: Pass
- Taylor's EET: Overall Score 4.0
- Cambridge English/ELS also recognised; the minimum score varies by programme
- Taylor's IEN: Level 2 - Grade C
- Pre-U/Diploma: Completed Pre-U/Diploma that was conducted in English
