Sunway University BSc (Hons) in Industrial Statistics is a home-grown 3-year degree programme designed to equip students with the fundamental, advanced and specialized mathematics and statistics knowledge; key to producing a dynamic, in-demand, and skilled workforce for almost every industry.
This programme emphasises the importance of credible, reliable and responsible data analysis in identifying patterns and extraction of hidden information using sound, trusted and scientifically proven mathematical & statistical techniques to enable our graduates to objectively perform descriptive analytics, predictive analytics, and prescriptive analytics for better decision making.

Entry Requirements
- STPM: Average C+ or CGPA 2.33 (minimum 2 Principals)
- A-Level* (*Points are calculated based on grades obtained for 2 or 3 subjects) Minimum 12 points
- Australian Matriculation: ATAR 60
- Canadian Matriculation: 60%
- Monash University Foundation Year: 60%
- Sunway Foundation in Arts: CGPA 2.0
- Sunway Foundation in Science Technology: CGPA 2.0
- Unified Examination Certificate: Maximum 26 points from 5 subjects (all Grade Bs)
- International Baccalaureate: Completed with minimum 25 points (excluding bonus points)
- Sunway Diploma*: CAVG 50% or CGPA 2.0 (* Students may obtain advanced standing if credit transfer requirements are met)
- Other Qualifications: Any other equivalent qualifications. Applicant with no standard qualification will be considered on a case-to-case basis.
- Specific Requirements: Credit in English at SPM or equivalent for Industrial Statistics
