Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards

Exemplifying academic brilliance, Sunway College holds the record for the most awards in the Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards (OCLA) since 2014. At the November 2024 ceremony, 21 students earned 22 A and AS Level distinctions.

Phang Jun Shen, awarded Top in Malaysia for AS Level Biology, achieved an impressive 4*. Reflecting on his journey, he expressed gratitude for his supportive lecturers and peers, as well as the Jeffrey Cheah Entrance Scholarship, which provided crucial financial support and resources.
