With the diploma in early childhood now established as the minimum requirement for individuals working in kindergartens across Malaysia, professionals who aim to distinguish themselves will benefit from pursuing a degree. The Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Early Years Education offered by SEGi College, in collaboration with University of Greenwich UK, is designed with a strong focus on employability. This hands-on programme requires students to participate in practical placements at least twice per week, ensuring real-world application of classroom learning.
The degree has been developed by a dedicated team of academics and industry professionals from the University of Greenwich, known for its extensive background in teacher training. It is delivered locally by SEGi College's team of educators who bring in-depth industry knowledge and contextualise this international curriculum to align with Malaysian early childhood education standards.
Graduates will be well-prepared to assume leadership and management roles in various settings, including early years centres, children’s development centres, health and social care services, community education environments, and childminding networks.
