Entry Requirements
Any of These:
- Matriculation/Foundation: CGPA 2.00 out of 4.00 AND credit in Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent.
- STPM: Grade C (GP 2.0) in any 2 subjects AND credit in Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent.
- STAM: Grade of Jayyid, AND credit in Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent.
- A-LEVEL: Pass with Grade D in any two (2) subjects AND credit in Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent.
- Diploma in Computer Science OR Software Engineering OR Information Technology OR Information Systems or equivalent: CGPA 2.50 out of 4.00 AND a credit in Mathematics at SPM Level or its equivalent. Candidates with a CGPA below 2.50 but above 2.00 with a credit in Mathematics at the SPM level or its equivalent may be admitted subject to a rigorous internal assessment process.
- Diploma in any non-computing field: CGPA 2.75 out of 4.00 AND a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent. Candidates with a CGPA below 2.75 but above 2.50 with a credit in Mathematics at the SPM level or its equivalent may be admitted, subject to a rigorous internal assessment process.
- UEC: Grade B in five (5) subjects including Mathematics.
- Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM) / Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM)/ Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM): Minimum CGPA 2.50 out of 4.00, subject to passing the bridging programme.
- Other equivalent qualifications as recognised by the Government of Malaysia.
Notes:
- The credit requirement at the SPM level can be waived should the grades obtained at the STPM/STAM/Diploma/Matriculation/Foundation level are equivalent/higher.
English Language Competency Requirements for International Students:
- Proof of English proficiency certification will be required e.g. IELTS, MUET, TOEFL. See the website for the minimum qualifying score.
- English language requirements can be waived if the international student EITHER comes from a country that uses English as the official language OR the entry qualification uses English as the medium of instruction.
