Bachelor of Science (Hons) Quantity Surveying

About

The Bachelor of Science (Honours) Quantity Surveying program equips students with the expertise needed to manage costs, contracts, and economic aspects of construction projects. Quantity surveying is a multidisciplinary profession that requires technical, economic, legal, and management skills to ensure the effective planning, execution, and financial control of building developments. The program provides a comprehensive understanding of the Quantity Surveyor’s role throughout the entire construction lifecycle. The curriculum ensures that students develop analytical and problem-solving skills essential for cost-efficient and sustainable construction practices. In addition to academic study, students gain hands-on industry experience through A minimum of six months of practical training at a quantity surveying firm or a construction-related company, providing real-world exposure to industry operations

With its strong industry focus, technical training, and research-based approach, the Bachelor of Science (Honours) Quantity Surveying program prepares graduates for rewarding careers in cost management, contract administration, and project consultancy within the construction industry.
