Academic Requirements
- Foundation in Arts/Science/Equivalent: Minimum CGPA 2.5
- STPM (Arts/Science stream): Minimum CGPA 2.0 and Grade C in 3 subjects
- A-Level: Minimum Grade D in 3 subjects, including Mathematics
- UEC (Commerce/Science stream): Minimum 5 Credits (Grade B), including Mathematics
- National Matriculation: Minimum average of 60% in 6 subjects (including Mathematics and additional requirements)
- SAM (South Australian Matriculation): Minimum average of 70% in 5 subjects, including Mathematics
- CPU (Canadian Pre-University): Minimum average of 65% in 6 subjects, including Mathematics
- International Baccalaureate (IB): Minimum 26/42 points from 6 subjects (including a minimum score of 4/7 in Mathematics)
- Local Matriculation: Minimum CGPA 2.5
- Diploma/Advanced Diploma/Degree or Equivalent : Minimum CGPA 2.67 or 60% overall marks from an accredited Diploma in Quantity Surveying AND Minimum Credit in Mathematics in SPM or Grade C in O-Level (Maximum 30% credit transfer, subject to faculty discretion)
- Monash University Foundation Year (MUFY) : Minimum average of 55%, including Mathematics
- Other qualifications deemed equivalent to STPM/A-Level by MQA : Considered on a case-by-case basis

English Language Requirements
For Local Students:
- MUET : Band 3.5
- SPM English Language : Grade B+
- SPM English Language 1119/O-Level/IGCSE : Grade C
- UEC English Language : Grade A2
If the English language requirements are not met, applicants must take Basic English and English Foundation for in-sessional academic enhancement concurrently with the program.
