The Australian Matriculation (AUSMAT) program at Sunway College Malaysia is the longest-running and largest provider of the Western Australia Certificate of Education (WACE) in Malaysia, with over 35 years of proven academic excellence. This Australian pre-university program is designed to offer students a fast-track route to higher education, whether in Australia or worldwide. 

AUSMAT at Sunway College is a one-year, intensive program, divided into two semesters. It is structured to help students complete their secondary school qualifications in a shorter time compared to traditional systems. The program is accredited by the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) and is recognized by Australian universities. Graduates of the AUSMAT Sunway College program are eligible to apply for undergraduate courses in a wide range of fields, including Business, Medicine, Engineering, Arts, and Social Sciences. Entry Requirements

To apply for the Australian Matriculation (AUSMAT) program at Sunway College, students need to meet the following requirements:

SPM / O-Level

  • Pass with min. 5 credits

English Language Proficiency

  • Minimum credit in SPM English or O-Level English as a Second Language or
  • Minimum grade D in O-Level English as a First Language or English Literature or
  • IELTS - minimum overall score of 5.5 including writing component and no Band less than 5.
