Do you need another opportunity to obtain a degree and get closer to your goal of being a journalist, social scientist, business professional, IT specialist, or scientist despite having pre-university or foundation year credentials?
An alternate route to a Monash degree is this one-year program. It entitles you to the second year of a selected degree and enables you to study first-year courses in four of their schools: business, IT, science, and arts and social sciences.

Prerequisites:

  • Business stream:
    • Mathematics (Australian Year 11 equivalent).
  • Information technology stream:
    • Higher-level mathematics (Australian Year 12 equivalent).

English Subject Requirement:

  • Students must have completed an English subject that is equivalent to units 3 and 4 of Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) English.
  • They must also achieve the required prerequisite score for their chosen Monash University course.
  • Time Limitation:
    • The equivalent English subject must have been taken within 3 years before the course start date.
    • Note: It is possible that other time limitations may also apply.
