Entry Requirements
- Level 3 Diploma in hairdressing or beauty therapy, GCSE Grade C or above or grade 4-9 (new structure) in English, 80% attendance, the ability to communicate effectively and one positive reference from your Level 3 tutor.
Curriculum
The theoretical units on the course for both routes include:- management of health safety and security in the salon which will build on current understanding, quality management of client care in the hair and beauty sector, sales management in the hair and beauty sector, public relations in the hair and beauty sector and salon management. The beauty therapy route may include the following practical units:- laser and light treatments for hair removal/skin rejuvenation. The hairdressing route may include the following practical units:- manage the creation of a hair style collection/male hair style collection.
