Masters in Chiropractic (MChiro)

A Level  

• Minimum of CCC in 3 subjects 
• To include 2 science subjects: Biology plus any other science including Chemistry, Psychology, Physical Education, Mathematics or Physics.

Access to HE Diploma 

45 credits at level 3 with a merit profile or above.

A range of related pathways will be accepted, including Access to Human Health Sciences, Access to Science, Access to Medicine or Access to Nursing.

BTEC Extended Diploma Minimum of Merit Merit Merit (MMM) in a related pathway, including:

• BTEC Extended Diploma in Applied Science (Medical Science) 
• BTEC Extended Diploma in Applied Science 
• BTEC Extended Diploma in Health & Social Care 

Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers  

• BCCCC minimum to include 2 science subjects one of which must be Biology at grade B or higher.

International Baccalaureate Diploma    

• Minimum of 26 points overall with Higher Level grades no less than 5 to include 2 science subjects one of which must be Biology 

Other    

Consideration will be given to applicants who possess:

• A recognised and equivalent vocational, industry or professional qualification and/or experience.

GCSE    

• Minimum 5 GCSEs at grade C or above which must include English and Mathematics.
• For reformed GCSEs we accept a minimum of grade 4.

English language requirements 

If English is not your first language and you do not hold an honours degree that was delivered in English, you will be required to provide certified proof of ability in written and spoken English to, at least, IELTS 6.5 overall (with a minimum of 6.0 in each component).

Entry test  

Applicants may be required to sit for an entrance exam.

Interviews

• No offers are made without interview. Candidates will be selected to progress to interview based on the qualifications, work experience, personal statement and reference provided in their application. Interviews take place throughout the year.
• Applicants called for interview are assessed by a panel for their sense of vocation, motivation and qualities of determination and aspiration.

Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS)

• All students will have to complete a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check in order to be fully registered on the programme for which a charge will apply.  All offers made will therefore include a condition relating to a satisfactory criminal record check.
